The A-B 1756-OF4 module is an analog output module that has the following characteristics:

1. Voltage and current ratings: The voltage and current ratings of the backplane are 5.1V DC, with a maximum of 150mA for 24V DC.

2. Power consumption: The current consumption is 150mA at 5.1V, 120mA at 24V, and the total power of the backplane is 5.8W. The power consumption of its backplane is 3.7 W, and the overvoltage protection is 24V DC.

3. Open circuit detection: The open circuit detection of the module is only for current output, but the output should be set to be greater than 0.1 milliampere.

4. Short circuit protection: It has a short circuit protection limit of 21 milliamperes or less.

5. Output range: The output range is from 0 to 20 mA, with low signal and user counts of 0 mA and -32768 counts, and high signal and user counts of 21.2916 mA and 32767 counts, respectively. Within the output range of+/-10V, the low signal and user counts of the module are -10.4336V and -32768 counts, respectively, while the high signal and user counts are 10.4336V and 32676 counts, respectively.

6. Stability: For resistive loads, the stability time is less than 2 milliseconds to 95% of the final value.

7. Driving capability: This module has a voltage driving capability greater than 2000 ohms and a current driving capability ranging from 0 to 750 ohms.

8. Scanning time: Floating point and integer scanning times are 12 ms and 8 ms respectively, with module errors of 0.15% in voltage range and 0.3% in current range.

9. Power consumption and thermal dissipation: The maximum power consumption of this module is 3.25 W (4-channel current), and the thermal dissipation is 10.91 BTU/hour.

10. Other applications: The output voltage signal of this analog output module is+/10 VDC or 4-20 mA, with a resolution of 15 bits (10.5V, 320V/bit) and 15 bits (21 mA, 650 nA/bit). It can be used to drive modulation devices and actuators, or to forward signals for use by recorders, indicators, data recorders, and external controllers. Loggers, indicators, and data recorders can also use analog outputs. It is commonly used to modulate actuators and equipment, such as variable frequency drives (VFDs), modulating control valves, dampers, louvers, and other actuators. It is typically used to implement control outputs or commands configured in user programs. This type of user program can include proportional integral derivative (PID) controllers, mathematical calculations, manual input interfaces, movement, and similar analog processing instructions.
